Introducing Narelle Kelvin and Jo Kelvin-Platz

Narelle Kelvin and Jo Kelvin-Platz are a mother and daughter team and the directors of Metamorphic Training. The unique combination of Narelle’s counselling and teacher/training background, with Jo’s nursing, management and counselling background, has formed the basis for a company that is passionate about seeing lives transformed.

In her role as a youth worker/foster mother, Narelle provided a home and care to over 30 displaced young people, equipping them with the skills they needed to embrace life. Later, she developed and was the director of an innovative women’s centre in Kazakhstan, a former republic of the USSR. Narelle then co-managed a local charity in Australia, dealing primarily with substance abuse addicts and their families. Her greatest achievement is being married for over 30 years and raising three amazing daughters. Her knowledge and experience in communicating across generations, cultures and within relationships gives Narelle a unique perception and ability to train in communication excellence.

Jo has faced extremely challenging situations as an oncology nurse dealing with terminally ill patients and their families, as well as the chaos of emergency departments. Experienced in making split-second lifesaving decisions, Jo understands the value and importance of teams communicating effectively. Her knowledge of communication styles and team dynamics helps companies develop their people for more effective, proactive customer service by improving their communication skills.

Narelle and Jo are passionate change enablers and develop programmes so that an organisation’s staff has the current, relevant communication tools and other skills needed to live their lives successfully. Metamorphic Training helps companies and staff make the changes necessary to achieve the bottom-line profits they desire.
